Day 16: A Lady in a Kirtle


This is one of those pieces that did not go as planned. It started as one thing, got derailed somewhere in the middle, and ended up somewhere far away in a smoldering wreck that was still a bit salvageable.

As a disclaimer, nothing in this is historically accurate. (Another component of above-mentioned train wreck.) This piece ended up as an experiment, rather, of just how far I could go in adding outlines without resorting to fineliners like I did for the doors. Turns out, I didn’t do terribly. Still a ways to go, but not bad.

At any rate, I love her hair.
